On Monday December 28th IT will be upgrading the router that serves the Residential Halls. Work will begin at approximately 8:30 am and should be complete within an hour. During this time you will not be able to access the Internet or any network resource on campus. We are performing this upgrade to provide redundancy for the wireless network and higher capacity for network access in the res halls. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

On Monday morning, September 7th (Labor Day,) from 6 AM to around 10 AM electricity in Ely will be shut off for some electrical work that needs to be done. During this time the main library webpage, the library databases, and the library catalog will be unavailable, as well as all network connectivity within Ely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can now register your computer to the ResNet network from home! This will allow you to register your PC or Mac computer to the WSC network from home before you move in, so that when you arrive you will be able to access the network right away. Click the "Self Registration" link on the Navigation Bar if you wish to use this new feature.

We have installed some firmware updates which will hopefully address the issues with this server.
